Would You like to help make someone's Christmas merrier?

You can make a BIG difference

What is the Christmas fund?

The Christmas Fund for Alstead Children provides the children in Alstead with a merrier Christmas. We are going on our 20th year on this project and last year we helped 33 families with a total of  85 children. We provide every child with a new outfit in addition to the new toys they receive.

Can I still help even if I live far away?

Yes. The Christmas Fund is always accepting donations either in the form of checks or gift cards. Gift cards can be just as useful as checks or toys as they can be used for the older children who it is more difficult to buy them specific items.

If you are interested in sending a gift card we would prefer the gift cards to be no more than $25 to keep things fair. Less is fine.

Here are some suggestions for places for gift cards:

  • Target
  • Wal-mart
  • Borders
  • Dick's Sporting Goods
  • Real to Reel Video, Walpole, NH
  • Michaels
  • Amazon.com

How can I help?

There are many ways a person can get so involved if they are interested. There are trees up at the Mascoma Savings Bank, Langdon, NH, the Alstead Village Store, Alstead, NH and the Drewsville General Store, Drewsville, NH. You can take the tag off the tree, find the item on that tag and return both the tag and the unwrapped item to the place where you took it from.

Where would I mail a contribution?

Contributions would be sent to:
